A. There are several android tablets avaiable under 180. Also you can buy kindle fire if you can add $30.
It is very popular and it also runs android os. Of course it is very different than normal tablets but a good option I think.

Upgrading Android Tablet ?
Q. I am seriously considering buying one of the Android tablets soon for school, I would get an iPad but I don't like the fact that the internet doesn't have Flash and I already have an iTouch I love but I am not wild about the internet not being fully functional.
However with the Android tablets, I hear that they are supposed to be upgrading from Honeycomb to (can't remember what it was called IceCream Sandwich or something?)
If I buy the Honeycomb now will it be upgradable later?
Hey, forgot to mention I just want the wiFi version. I can't afford the monthly fees, but thanks for the input!

A. All your Android Needs: www.androidtablets.net its a forum, once you learn how to use em they're very useful. Crash course. Type in the tablet model you want to research and start digging. WARNING: Modifying your tablet outside of the manufacturers limits will void your warranty so do so at your own risk (Upgrading OS to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 from honeycomb 3.0 with 3rd party software or a custom rom will void your warranty) Sometimes the manufacturers website will provide updates in the support section of their website. I have a Sylvania MID Android 2.2 (Froyo) Tablet and I love it.
Should I buy a $100 android tablet?
Q. I saw a $100 dollar tablet at sears and it was low performance. It was sylvania. It has the outdated 2.2 android software and it dosent have the official android app market. I didn't mind about the app store but i was worried that if the software was too old, I couldn't download any popular apps like angry birds, or the kindle app
A. No I would recommend getting a kindle fire for about 200 dollars but(7in) or get a 7in Samsung galaxy tab for 250 which I strongly reccomennd it has more features for the price. It's just as strong as its 10in version. Just a smaller screen
