Is there any microsoft word type app for an android tablet?

Q. So, I bought this android tablet thing for me to do my work on it. Is there any way I can type my work on the tablet, then put it on the computer? and if you know, is there a way to get a keyboard and mouse connected to it? thanks guys
oh also is there any jailbreak at all for android tablets?

A. Check out quickoffice HD pro and thinkfree office. You need to pay for these.

There are keyboards and mouses that you can connect to your tablet. You might need to look into it yourself since I don't know what tablet you got.

Whats a good android tablet and keyboard combination?
Q. Whats a good android tablet with that you can attach a keyboard and stays attached. I understand that this will cause my tablet to be bulky but I do not want to carry around a separate keyboard just for my android tablet. Are there any keyboards that can stay attached to the tablet?

Thanks

A. I'm not aware of any tablet that comes with this feature. Tablets are designed mainly for mobility. Having a keyboard attached makes it bulky and that makes less mobile. Moreover tables generally has larger display (7"+) and so a virtual keyboard is quite efficient in a tablet. So you may have to carry a separate keyboard. What are the pros and cons of ditching my Macbook for a Tablet?
Q. Hello-
I have a 2009 Macbook with a cracked screen. It still works perfectly fine minus a small obstruction in the corner, but I have estimated that the screen repair would be a little less than $200 with the part and labor. So, I have been considering 'downsizing' and getting an Android tablet. Here are my main "pros" for selling the laptop and getting a tablet:

-I am no longer in school and don't have much use for the Office suite
-More compact
-Good battery life (model-dependent, of course)
-Touch screen
-Lighter
-Ease of use
-Relatively inexpensive once I sell the laptop

And my reservations:

-I would need a new bluetooth printer, as mine is USB-based and I do not have WIFI at home to create a wireless printer network.
-Can my iPhone connect directly to the Android tablet interface to at least edit music/sync apps, etc?
-No CD/DVD drive
-Will need to buy keyboard/stand/other accessories

Will I be making my life more difficult by upgrading? If you have some experience in terms of switching out your technology, I'd be interested to hear some opinions. Thank you!
Sidenote; I'm moving in the near future, and just downsizing in general. My boyfriend also has a laptop, so we don't really need my laptop as well.

A. Well first off, buying a Macbook is buying a $500 Windows computer with Mac OSx installed at 2x to 3x the price. If you are using a Macbook for general computing (AKA: Facebook, music, images, etc) then a tablet wouldn't be that big of a change. If you are word processing, playing games, rendering, using photoshop, making music, making artwork, or generally like having a full size screen with keyboard. Stick to laptops.

Tablets fail at many things such as
- No physical keyboard and bluetooth keyboards are clumsy and awkward
- 1/2 the power of a laptop
- Smaller screen
- less hard drive space
- next to no USB support meaning flash drives are a no go
- much less programs and applications
- Play oriented, not really work oriented.

Tablets are better than laptops in
- Battery life
- start up time
- portability
- ease of use
