A. Hi Natasha,
Congrats on getting your android tablet. There is an app which I like used for taking notes. It is called Note Everything. But it would be better if you get an app called tap to talk and record the relevant parts of your class and then later listen to it. It will help for the facts to sink in.
Regarding new apps, you can search youtube channel for android apps and there there is a channel called coolloser who shares new android apps every week. I also suggest you get the amazon ebook: 100 ways to use your android device which helps you understand how to utilize your android device to its max potential. Hope this helps.

What is the best tablet out for the money?
Q. I am looking to purchase a tablet like the IPad. Which is the most used and good for the money?
A. The best one out there is the iPad 2.
The reason why it is the best is because of the large library of apps and the continuing support of the product in spite of its high privce (though only $20 more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1).
Android tablets are all over the place, some running 2.2 (obsolete), 3.0 (better but coming to the end of its life so little future development) or 4.0 (the future of Android tablets but not yet available).
Lots of Android tablets have had poor sales and have resulted in the manufacturer suspending prodution (the Dell Streak for example).
The HP Touchpad was a failure and is being abandoned along with its excellent WebOS operating system.
The Blackberry Playbook has had a dismal sales record and lacks native email and messaging that would have made it a game changer. If you have a Blackberry device I'd strongly consider getting this one--but RIM is doing poorly and future support is in doubt.
Then there are the Kindle Fire/Nook tablets that are cheaper, but less capable (more reader than tablets).

Are tablets good for storing and playing music?
Q. I have an iPod touch and I have a Dell computer (yes, they suck lol). I am tired of my computer crashing or something being wrong were my iTunes and iPod cannot update each other. So, I am looking into tablets to see if they are the best deal for my music. What I am asking is are there any tablets that stand out for music? I just mostly want to use it for music so I don't keep losing my songs.
I am not really interested in the iPad (any generation). I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket for a phone and love the Andriod system.
Thank you!

A. I wouldn't use an ipad or ipod as the primary storage media for my music. The main reason is that Apple is pretty draconian regarding what it allows you to do with your media. For example, my music collection got wiped out and I tried to copy the data from my ipod to my computer but Itunes doesn't allow that. It only allow you to sync songs and it doesn't allow you to move things off your device very easily. I love my ipad, but not a music content manager. Android tablets would be better for this because they just look like an external hard drive so you can easily organize your songs and move them back and forth between your pc and your tablet. They also give you more storage capability normally as a lot of them support SD and USB storage expansion whereas with the ipad and ipod you are limited in storage to what you bought it with.
Hope this helps!
