I have asked this question to manufacturers before and the answer is simple its not free, although the actual OS is opensource google charge a fee to allow manufacturers to install the actual market. So the odds are unless you root the device (which could invalidate the warranty) you wont get it to run. there is probably some code on the device to stop you.

The alternative is amazon, amazon run their own android market which you can download, like the google one it has loads of free and paid apps there.
