Q. i really regret to buy phone made in china (nokia 5800), because there are a lot of problems...the content inside is not too complete, such as no wifi, no GPS..So, anyone can help me to find the website to reinstall free software?
A. nokia phones are also manufactured/assembled in china.
nokia phone you got maybe a china version for use of chinese people but smuggled out from china by some big time syndicate, those type are for use only on china usually on remote places in china wherein communication is main use and no need for added high-tech features.
yes it looks the same as the export version but only the looks,
you can buy nokia phone manufactured in china but the standard quality will be the same for europe and middle east version.
middle east version nokia usually assembled in finland, hungary and china, but one thing you will notice is the keypads, you will arabic letters with the numbers instead of the english alphabet. a/b/c/d etc etc..
when a company will put up assembly plant in china, each product that will be produce must have a china version, government policy/ law as they claim.
that is the strategy china is using that is why they were able to pirate/copy every product from around the globe and compete on the same product they are manufacturing for the companies who invested well on china.. bright ha !
here in my place, when we buy phone, we are offered, china version or made in china..
made in china, must be the choice, complete details, warranty from factory, software, accessories etc etc, just like buying the finland version or the genuine version, and those are licensed by the original manufacturer NOKIA..
see the difference ?
same goes with computers, laptops and the mouse you are using now.
what ever brand you by now, dell , hp. lenovo . toshiba, etc. all are labeled made in china.. except for samsung and LG, which is made in Korea..
speaking of Korea, you can also buy Nokia labeled made in korea..
same quality as the original version..
addition info.
phones offered by microsoft, google android, apple are also made in china and exported back to US.
china version is also available. resolution is somewhat different and with less features,
oh,, i forgot to mention..
tablet pc are also made in china and india..
so watch out..

Anyone know any technological device that will allow my mom to check her email?
Q. My mom LOVES my new Kindle... because she loves the size and she loves the WIFI part. Now she wants one.. But she doesn't read. I can't explain to her that buying a kindle means buying a library.
She has a laptop already, but she wants something else too... Does anyone know what technological device I can for her so she doesn't waste her money on this?

A. Depending if she needs a phone or not, there are many great ones out there: Blackberry, *Iphone, Andriod...
I recommend getting a not-too-expensive android tablet or an Ipad if you're willing to pay the price.
If you always want it on the go, you might need to buy a 3g plan.
If she wants something small and easy with no 3g, I DEFINITELY recommend the iPod! Not only does it have emails on the web, but you can download apps which make things so much easier to do. It is a pocket-sized tablet which is great for business, gaming, accessories, and so much more!
Sprint Should have good 3g tablets or plans!
Thumbs Up?

What are the advantages of having an I-Pad?
Q. I can't really see what's so great about having an I-Pad. Aren't they less reliable than lap-tops?
A. The screen is larger than your typical reader so it is easier to read. (Other tablets can also provide this feature)
Ipad's apps Work!!! Unlike my now returned Pandigital Nova tablet which I could not get the cameras to work with Skype. The Skype Ipad app works flawlessly.
Big advantage in buying accessories and other neat devices which are specifically designed for Apple products. There appears to be a wide selection of aftermarket products designed for Apple. Take a look at all of the speaker systems and alarm clocks which are designed to interface and fully integrate with an Ipad,Ipod or Iphone.
The rear camera works in low light and for close ups well enough that I can use it like a magnifying glass. I've used in in several restaurants to read a menu with small print in low light. (its tough to get old)
Apps install easily I haven't had to configure one yet, Click, Download - It works..... Updates are also very easy.
Got excellent tech support at an Apple store regarding a usage issue I have with Safari. (Unresolved but excellent effort made in attempting to resolve it)
There are some things I HATE such as needing to use ITunes to transfer a PDF file so I can read it. Android tablets act like a flash drive so all you need to do is drag and drop a file to a folder on your Android to view or open it. Seems like I have to go through a cumbersome Sync process with Itunes to read a PDF or I have to email it to myself.
Builtin speaker is just OK, I pad is not loud enough for me to use in many situations without the use of docking with a speaker. The Pandigital speaker was much louder.
Safari browser doesn't support Flash. Many videos on web won't play and You Tube requires use of an App. Also encounter web site issues using Safari where buttons don't work properly and in some cases the site doesn't works at all! I cannot use Verizon Mobile web site to send free text messages using the Ipad. I can do so using my PC laptop and the Android based tablet I once owned. The annoyance I have is that many sites then create an App for the web site and redirect you to installing the App. (My Comcast Email for example) So instead of using the browser to do many different things I end up with a collection of many different customized Apps designed to view or interact with web content for various sites)
Comcast, Netflix, YouTube, NPR, Pandora are examples of sites where I need a dedicated app to view/interact with web content because Safari Can't !!!
