A. You Should get the 3DS.
Because you can play music (even with the system close).
You can LOWER the VOLUME of 3D so it does NOT give you headaches for the first time in your life (if you're the kind of person to ever get headaches from 3D, otherwise just turn the 3D all the way up).

Why are Android phone stuck on Android 2?
Q. All the Android phones I've seen have version 2.2 or 2.3 of Android OS. I've heard Android 3.x is made for tablets, but couldn't they make the latest version support both tablets and phones? I don't really understand why the phones can't use Android 3. As for Android 2, perhaps a related question is why so many Android phones are still using Android 2.2 instead of 2.3?
A. Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the latest version or android. This version is being sent out to a lot of the newer phones, and will be on a lot of upcoming android phones. As for android 2.3, there are a lot of phone that's are running it, but it never really caught on like Android 2.2. This is because developers didn't wanna spend the time to create custom User Interfaces, and take the time to configure it to run on the phones they were putting out.
will the htc flyer pen be able to work on other tablets? and the app for it?

A. The HTC Flyer will probably not work the same on other Android tablets. HTC is using N-trig's digitizer on their tablet while other current tablets (e.g. Xoom, Asus eeePad, Acer Iconia) do not use the digitizer.
If you specifically want a tablet for taking handwritten notes, the only true tablet currently optimized for that is the HTC Flyer. However, many other tablet manufacturers will be using N-trig's tech in other upcoming tablets. And as you mentioned, HTC's Scribe software looks like it will be the bleeding edge for note-taking on an Android tablet.
Another option would be to purchase Wacom's new Bamboo Stylus. It was created specifically for the iPad; however, it should work with other capacitive touchscreen tablets. While handwriting functionality won't be as optimized as with the Flyer, early buzz indicates that the Bamboo Stylus is much better than other pen options.

A. laptop is the most advantageous. you can do anything a real computer can do, game to the max surft ot the max do music editing creating , art creating editing etc..
tablets and ipads are the same thing ipad is just owned by apple and uses apple OS . tablets can range from android or webos or even some custom operating systems and the upcoming windows tab version. While these are 'trendy' and you can do a lot of things they are still not as good as a laptop. just smaller/harder to type on and run on inferior operating systems. (since u can install linux/macosx/windows on a laptop and do whatever)
