if i change my nookcolor into a full android tablet can i change it back?

Q. I've been seeing online that i can hack my nook color into a full android tablet but if i do am i able to have go back to being a nook color?

A. Yes, IF YOU DO IT RIGHT!!

I wanted to stress that point because there are many, many companies online that tell you how to do it or that sell their method which roots the internal memory of the Nook. They claim it is safe, legal, and works better.

I can tell you that 1. It immediately voids your warranty, 2. It can easily damage the internal memory of the Nook making it worthless!!

That being said, there is a way to do it that does NOT void your warranty and that is completely legal!

If you use a micro SD card with Android running on it, then you can root it without affecting the original Nook OS. Basically, when you boot up with the card in, you have the fully functional Android Tablet. When you take it out, it is back to the way the Nook was before you used the card. It is really that simple.

Go to this website to learn more. www.Nook2Android.com If you decide to buy the card from them, they include a ton of extras, such as dual boot, Netflix hack, Hulu, Angry Birds, Pandora, and many, many more!! They have a ton of great feedback, amazing customer service, and a ton of fans on Facebook that can tell you how great they are!!

Good luck!!

Why are there viruses on Android tablets but none on the Apple iPad?
Q. What I mean to ask is, how come people say that Android tablets like Samsung Galaxy are more likely to get virus or malware than an Apple tablet?

A. It is somewhat of a myth to think that there are no malware issues on the iPad. Of course, compared to Android tablets, iPad viruses are almost non-existent but they do exist (mostly as malware apps) and can be dangerous if your iPad is jailbroken. The nature of security on Apple vs Android is about perspective as much it is about technology.

What makes the iPad different is that it has been built from the ground up to be a closed-OS tablet which makes it more secure than Samsung Galaxy and other Android tablets. iPad apps too need to be digitally signed and can be downloaded only from the App Store.

They also run in their own space (think of the "sandboxie" program in Windows which separates specific program operations from the main OS. iPad has that from the start).

In terms of security, I've found iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire to be relatively secure tablet devices.

Which operating system is recommended when looking to purchase an Android Tablet?
Q. Which operating system is recommended when looking to purchase an Android Tablet? What operating system is compatibile to get apps from Android Marketplace and Google Play Store?

A. Normally, you should try to get the latest OS which is mostly used. I recommend Android v2.3.6 (Gingerbread) OR v4.0 (ICS)
These OS versions are compatible with almost every app in Google Play store.

What the different between android gingerbread and honeycomb?
Q. What are the diffent between honeycomb and gingerbread? Cause I want to buy android tablet and there is 2 version android honeycomb and gingerbread..

^ is there anything Like apple jailbreak and download application for free on android.

A. Gingerbread is a smartphone OS, designed for smartphone, there are tablets like galaxy which have gingerbread but those are like smartphones OS with bigger screen.

Where as Honeycomb is designed for Tablets with multiple views and some good changes in native apps wich makes it ideal for Tablets

Few months down the line there will be icecream sandwitch Android OS, which will be a merger or gingerbread and honeycomb
