A. You can usually transfer them to your sd card via USB. Or take out the card and use a card reader. Make sure the books are in the correct format for the reader app you're using, and that you put them in the folder where the app expects them to be.

A. if you linked your tablet with your Google Account, you could click on the app you want to download for your tablet in your PC on the Android Market, and it will sync to your device wirelessly

A. At first connect your camera to computer, and copy the photo to computer, then connect your andrid tablet to computer, copy the photo into "pictures" in SD card.

Whether it's better than a laptop is a matter of personal opinion. You'll be missing a keyboard, it won't be as powerful, etc, but they're fantastic on battery and touch is a great way to work.
I own a touchscreen laptop. Mine is an HP Touchsmart Tablet. It's like a tablet in that you can swivel the screen and that's all you'll see of the laptop, but it's a laptop. It wasn't too expensive either (as an answer below me would have you believe).. It was about $850-900, not much more than an android tablet, and much more powerful and useful.
