Can you type and print documents from an android tablet?

Q. I am looking at replacing my laptop with a tablet such as the Motorola Xoom or the Acer Iconia A500 but i would like to buy a bluetooth keyboard and be able to type papers and print them on the tablet. I was just wondering if there was an android program that you can type documents in and connect to a printer to print.

A. There are apps to create, edit, and view many types of documents (some cost), but I think you'll have trouble finding a way to print it. I know google docs has a remote print function of some sort, but I think you still need a computer in between.

What is the difference between the Android Tablets for $100 and the Ipads for $499?
Q. They have these Android Tablets on sale for Black Riday under $100 and my daughter has been asking for a Ipad which I can't afford, but the Android Tablet says that U can search the web, play music, videos, games etc.

A. There is some difference and usually apple products have or atleast the reputation of more polish to the product attention to detail compared to the droid brethren. This isn't to say Android Tabs are bad with lots of different tabs coming out and matching or beating the iPad in some or all areas and constantly improving software. It is just you would need to check specs and state which android tabs your looking at as some are not up to scratch compared to the iPad.
As far as similar spec SONY S, Galaxy Tab 10.1, ASUS Eee Pad, MOTOROLA Xoom, HTC Flyer, LG Optimus Pad are all very familiar to the iPad but not one and have all the features.
And if worse comes to worse you could always find student friend and get a lovely 14% discount >_>

How can i get applications for android honeycomb?
Q. After a week of comparing Motorola xoom and Ipad 2, I almost decided to buy a Motorola xoom 3G which is powered by android honeycomb os.
I observed some complaints from xoom's owners regarding lack of applications.
Any idea? how can i get useful apps for it?

A. Just to clarify....

You are looking for honeycomb optimized apps. Those are made for the tablet.

Other apps can still work but may not be performing or looking the best.

I have the xoom and love it. There will be an update soon that helps with this issue and letting the apps not optimized stretch to fit.

Which is better BlackBerry Playbook or Motorola Xoom?
Q. I am saving up to buy a tablet, two have caught my eye and I can't decide between them, I would like to know which is better the BlackBerry Playbook or the Motorola Xoom. Please help.

A. Motorola Xoom. It has android and if you want apps, it definitely has much better apps then the playbook. It's bigger, better camera and can do much more then the playbook. Unless you have a blackberry, a playbook is kind of useless.
